Things to do in Tofino in WINTER
While we all love summer in Tofino, winter is one of our favorite times here. After the buzzing business of the summer months, fall and winter is when Tofino is winding down and starts to feel again more like the small village it used to be. But that does not mean its boring here in winter!
November and December are usually packed with music and events: Tofino Winter Nights with Jingle into Christmas, crafting workshops, a Christmas night market, open mic nights, movie screenings, lots of live music, Surfrider beach cleanups, the Tofino Hot Cacao Trail (are you getting curious?). And of course: Don't forget the best thing ever: Storm watching - and then cuddle up with a hot chocolate in front of our fireplace while you take in the views of Clayquot Sound And Meares Island from the coziness of our Great Room.
So what are you waiting for? Visit us this winter! Don't have a car? No worries: Check out Island Link bus - with bus service from Nanaimo and Victoria to Tofino. Alternatively, you can also fly to Tofino: Pacific Coastal Airlines has really good rates during the winter and the flight just takes 45 minutes from Vancouver South Terminal.
Ready to book your Tofino winter getaway? You can easily make a booking here on our website or call our team (10AM to 12PM and 5PM to 9PM) and we are happy to assist you with your reservation.
Make sure you keep an eye on DriveBC to check road and highway conditions.
We hope to see you soon :)
