Things to do in Tofino in JANUARY & FEBRUARY (aka WINTER ;)
Happy 2024 to all of you :) We hope you had a great start into the new year and many plans for 2024. And we hope that some of these plans involve Tofino. While January and February might not be everybody's favorite months, out here we actually love them! Days are finally getting longer, with 9 to 12 degrees temperatures are almost cozy (at least compared to the rest of Canada! No minus degrees and no snow here in Tofino) and January/February is all about surfing. Winter Swells are consistently good here on the West coast. Plus if you wanted to avoid the crowds this is your season :)
And as always: Don't forget the best thing ever: Endless beach walks, friendly locals and after a day out in the elements cuddle up with a hot chocolate in front of our fireplace while you take in the views of Clayquot Sound and Meares Island from the coziness of our Great Room. Also make sure to keep an eye on our Facebook events section where we collect everything that is happening in and round Tofino so you never gonna miss anything.
So what are you waiting for? Visit us here in Tofino! Don't have a car? No worries: Check out Island Link bus - with bus service from Nanaimo and Victoria to Tofino. Alternatively, you can also fly to Tofino: Pacific Coastal Airlines has really good rates during the winter and the flight just takes 45 minutes from Vancouver South Terminal.
Ready to book your Tofino winter getaway? You can easily make a booking here on our website or call our team (10AM to 12PM and 5PM to 9PM) and we are happy to assist you with your reservation.
Make sure you keep an eye on DriveBC to check road and highway conditions.
We hope to see you soon :)
